Kia’s ‘Stunning Sports Car Concept’ is the Kia GT4 Stinger
Just before Christmas, Kia revealed the first teaser photo – a birds-eye view – of a new concept they’re taking to the Detroit Auto Show later this month, which they described as a stunning sports concept, but gave us absolutely nothing else. We did hope it may be something that points towards a proper performance Kia, although we half expected it to turn out to be a 3-pot city runaround. But actually, it looks quite promising.
Porsche 918 Spyder to get 4.6 litre V8
The Porsche 918 Spyder is to get a 4.6 litre V8 and lose one of its electric motors when it launches after a Frankfurt 2013 debut. It’s almost two years since the Porsche 918 Spyder debuted at the Geneva Motor show as a potential 21st century eco-replacement for the Carrera GT. The amount of interest shown – and offers of deposits – persuaded Porsche to confirm the 918 Spyder for production last March, but it’s still more than eighteen months away from arriving on the road.

Kia is hunting down buyers of the C3 Picasso, Meriva and Meriva with this new mini-MPV concept car. Although no name has been released yet, the internal codename for the production car is Kia YN. This concept will translate into production with precious few changes.
